Over for another year!

What a great day!  Thanks to all who came.  You can find my pictures of May Day 2011 in the Photo Gallery and links to photo collections provided by Richard Sanderson and Mick McTiernan plus video from Garry Walker in the Picture Archive 21st C page.

Over in the blogosphere, Neil Transpontine has posted a photo and a comment Jack in the Green 2011.

Darryl has posted some pictures and comments, Deptford's Jack in the Green marks May Day in Greenwich.

Usually out of London for Beltane so this year was the first year that I 'tagged along' with you guys. Thank you for the most joyous day - it was fabulous! I'll definately be back next year if I'm at home x

Thanks Neil, glad you enjoyed it. We don't have a Facebook presence for the Deptford Jack - I am a little anxious about promoting it in too many places in case unmanageable crowds turn up!
