				<description>&lt;p&gt;Fowlers Troop and the Deptford Jack in the Green feature in this new book: &lt;i&gt;Mummers, Maypoles and Milkmaids: a journey through the English Ritual Year&lt;/i&gt; by Sara Hannant.&amp;#160; Sara has been coming along on May Day for the last few years and has recorded her impressions as well as some lovely photos.&amp;#160; The book is published by &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.merrellpublishers.com/?9781858945590"&gt;Merrell&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The book was launched on 24th October 2011 at the &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.horniman.ac.uk/visit/exhibitions/exhibition/mummers-maypoles-and-milkmaids/exhibition-chapter/regional-rituals-in-england"&gt;Horniman Museum&lt;/a&gt; which has a display of photos from the book.&amp;#160; There was a small presence from Fowlers Troop at the launch playing some music, there are some pictures on Merrell's&lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.255786204472793.80168.111093568942058&amp;amp;type=3"&gt; FaceBook&lt;/a&gt; page.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
